  About 2014 Management Trainee Program

  What is the aim of the Programme?

  Develop a group of talented, nationally mobile young talents and fast track them to hotel management positions within 12 months of starting the Programme.

  What will I do?

  You will start with an initial 12-month training that consists of rotation through all areas of the hotel, Opportunities are available to complete business-driven projects during the placement or to specialize in a particular area. The programme offers a competitive entry-level management salary and job placement opportunities at one of our participating hotels upon successful completion.

  Where will I be?

  The location of your placements will depend on availability but personal preference is taken into account wherever possible.

  Programme Framework

  - PHASE I

  Hotel Orientation - 6 Month Programme

  - PHASE II - Focused Training in a Specialty Area - 6 Month Programme

  a) Business Residential Workshop

  b) Regional Development Center - Final Assessment using mini Proactive Leadership

  c) Supervisory Level or above - Final Placement

  Requirements:

  - Chinese Nationals only

  - Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  - Must speak, read and write English fluently (CET 6 and above, TOEFL score 560 or IBT 83 and above or IELTS score 5.5 minimum )

  - Must be highly mobile

  - Must have a passion for hospitality
